I enjoyed the series and found the characters believable. Elle's abusive past makes her wary of love. Logan's family has also lead him to believe he would never fall in love because all it ever brought was pain. The two were perfect together and managed to forge a relationship together against known and unknown enemies determined to break them apart. Although mob/gang stories are not my favorite genre, this series kept me reading to find out if everything would finally come to light. My only real negative comment would probably be that I found there were just a lot of characters being introduced that it became confusing trying to remember how they fit into the story. It did all fit in the end but I had to stop a few times and get the characters straight before reading on. I'm happy that Elle and Logan found their HEA. It wasn't looking like it would happen for a while.Product details

I couldn't put it down. Loved it. Kim karr is great at getting the reader inside her characters. I'm smiling as I write this. And wish there was more to come. Ok I just really enjoyed the read.
EVERYTHING Kim Karr writes is terrific! What I probably love most is her attention to detail and the intricate plot she weaves. Her plots are steeped in history revolving around a region of the country or time honored tradition. I promise you will love her books and the characters she includes in them.

Loved the characters and the story line. You get to know both main characters and supporting characters well on the story. Story is full of ction, live, and anguish . Would recommend to anyone.
Great book set!! Loved them both and would recommend them to anyone. Intense story line, full of action both in and out of the bedroom.
I absolutely love these books! Kim Karr writes a great novel where you get know the main characters as well as the supporting characters very well. You feel their emotions and can't wait to turn the page. This duet was a great read. I had read the first book and couldn't wait to start on book 2. If you love a romance that blooms while danger lurks, this is a great read.
