Tori Albert is eighteen but her confidence level is zero. Her life experience…also zero. She’s a girl lost in the shuffle, hiding in the shadows, craving attention. If only someone, anyone, would notice her, maybe life would improve.
Grant Donovan can’t stop noticing Tori, but she is young, inexperienced and naïve. She is also his best friend’s younger sister. Grant knows the best thing he can do is just walk away. So why the hell isn’t he walking away?
When a late night knock lands across her bedroom door, Tori knows what stands behind it could end in disaster…but how many times does opportunity come knocking?
Just when she thinks her luck is finally changing, things take an unexpected turn for the worse.
With new assets and a new goal in sight, Tori will soon learn her new found confidence isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Unfortunately, some things you just have to learn the hard way.
Fake Boobs eBook Ryan Ringbloom
Judging from the title, you know that the theme is all about boobs. That’s how it starts off.Tori has always felt self-conscious about her body. She’s thin, but thin is not attractive because everything on her is thin—thin frame, thin butt, thin chest. At 18, she’s never gone past first base with a guy. Bottom line: she feels ugly and hates it. Right away the reader will empathize and hate the way she gets treated sometimes.
Then she gets a crush on Grant, one of her brother’s friends. They spend an amazing week together, then, for no reason, he leaves. Wanting to be in control and tired of being used, Tori turns to the true power of “fake boobs.” She gets hooked on the power so much that eventually she makes the fake boobs real.
Story centers on a young and naïve girl looking to please everyone but herself. I thought she was way too eager to get things “over with.” She was trying to grow up too fast, trying too hard to be something she’s not, which doesn’t make her a character to admire.
Book is divided in two parts. The first part is in Tori’s POV and the second is in Grant’s POV. The reader gets the love story from both parties.
Endearing and relatable, story is a journey of self-reflection, self-discovery, and self-acceptance. And, of course, there’s a love story in there, too.

Fake Boobs eBook Ryan Ringbloom Reviews
Man, I remember being a teenager and thinking if a boy didn't think I was pretty then life was terrible.
Tori goes through a lot. I enjoyed this book. It was so great to see the growth. I loved Grant and how he wasn't going to give up.
I so wanted Tori to like the way she looked and have confidence in herself.
****4 1/2 STARS****
I really enjoyed this story and the underlying meaning. It just goes to show that being someone you're not won't make you happy. At least not in the long run. I really enjoyed how half the way through this book she goes back and gives you Grant's POV and then she finishes it off by going back and forth between the two. I highly recommend this book.
I can't decide if I want to give this 3 or 4 stars.....I really did enjoy it!!!! I just loved connecting from the beginning when he saw the Barbie girl in the bar that he recognized, to later that girl being Tori....I wish it dug more into her emotions.....made me feel like her because I had insecurities when I was in high school with a bare chest, and the feeling of being rejected and tormented about looks feels a lot more devastating than described in the book and I wish Ryan would have delved into that more! But overall an awesome read )
I absolute loved this book! I would recommend it to anyone. I couldn't stop reading Fake Boobs, I literally read it in less then a day.
Author Ryan Ringbloom has written a book that any girl or woman can relate to. While discussing themes like self esteem and confidence, Ryan shows perspectives from both main characters Tori and Grant. I loved reading the inner thoughts from each one throughout the book.
Tori is girl on the brink of going to college with no self confidence whatsoever. Grant is someone who sees Tori's true beauty inside and out. It was spellbinding reading the interaction between the two.
Although Fake Boobs discusses some serious topics it is also light hearted. There were times I was reading and literally laughed out loud either from a situation in the book or dialogues from one of the characters.
I love the message and the whole book in general, I can't wait to read Ryan's next book Hooker Heels!
Boobs are power, pure and simple. If you’ve got them, flaunt them. Don’t cover those babies up…use them to get what you want.
Tori Albert is all too familiar with that power…well, at least with the knowledge it exists. But without ample assets in her arsenal, it completely evades her.
Fake boobs are the answer! They’d make up for everything lacking in her life, making her desirable, confident and fulfilled. But in reality, a double-D cup size could never fill the gaping hole in her heart. Only she has the ability to heal herself.
I loved the depth of the characters in this story and I empathized with their realistic struggles. Tori’s journey toward self-awareness was a rocky one at best but completely worth it when she reaches the final destination.
Ryan Ringbloom delivers yet another a powerful message…beauty fades, bums sag and boobs droop. If physical appearance is the only thing giving you validation, you’ll never be fulfilled because in order to find happiness in others, you have to first find it within yourself.
Fake Boobs is a must-read. Seriously, one-click NOW!
Well well well...where do I begin.
I had the privilege of reading this book from its beginning stages and watch it bloom into a wonderful story that I absolutely could NOT put down. Ryan Ringbloom really has a way of sucking you into her world until you are right beside her characters, cryin every tear, feeling every heartache and swooning along with them. This book really blew me away. I have always been a fan of this author but after reading this book, I worship the ground she walks on and I am not ashamed to admit it. Fake Boobs falls - somewhat - under a forbidden love category as it is about a girl who has a crush on her brothers best friend and all the obstacles they face just to be together all the while Tori (the heroine) is struggling with insecurities of her own. And no don't worry, she is not one of those dumb girls that don't have a backbone. Oh no...her issues are very realistic. Will have people remembering themselves at that age. Don't even get me started on Grant. It took me a while to stop talking about him and I don't want to drive myself crazy over him again. There is only one thing I can say. I MUST say....He is my book boyfriend. You hear me ladies? MINE !!!!!!
Overall, I ADORED this book and I am glad I purchased it. Worth every penny <3
